Travis Betz, Director
Travis Betz is currently the Senior Interagency Planner for USAID's Office of US Foreign Disaster Assistance. Mr. Betz has been working in development and international disaster response for more than 10 years. Prior to his time with OFDA he worked for the American Red Cross in domestic and international disaster response.
Mr. Betz also served as a Fleet Marine Force Medic for 4 years with the US Navy. He received a B.S. in Biology and Psychology from Excelsior College, and has done post graduate work in Disaster Management at Boston University's School of Public Health and studied Infectious Diseases at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
Mr. Betz served for several years on a second CFC federation, this one serving organizations delivering services to aging and disabled populations.
